Ringfence your non-live environments

When using a non-live environment for changes to configuration or project work in testing, we advise customers to do the following which will help avoid accidental refreshes:
Go to System – System Setup – SY Parameters and find the parameter WINTITLE
Open the parameter and change the value to include your initials and “RINGFENCED”
Do not lose the non-live reference or the refresh date.
e.g.
Before on our demo environment the value was
DEMO copied as at 03/07/19,1,2,3
And has now been updated to:
DEMO EJ RINGFENCED 03/07/19,1,2,3
This then displays as:
Once the project work has been completed and deployed to Live, you can then remove this from the parameter.
If you are a Minder customer with HISL project work going on then we will organise this for you. Non-Minder customers are advised to adopt the same process.
